Meredith Hodges explores the special bond that people with disabilities develop with mules and horses through Therapeutic Riding. Meredith meets a rider with cerebral palsy whose Hippotherapy sessions with a mule gave him independence; a rider with multiple sclerosis who discovered freedom on horseback; and a group of inner city kids whose time with horses inspired confidence.
